These county resolutions don't even override the county sheriff's power. But, as for confiscation, the VA governor has brought it up as an option.

These ''2nd Amendment Sanctuary" resolutions are symbolic at best, and would not stand against any state or federal law. They make everyone feel better, fine; have at it. Rest assured that no one is EVER going to come to confiscate our guns. (I'm still waiting for Obama to knock on the door to grab mine.) Those 'of a certain age', and indeed all of us, should be more concerned with the future of things like Social Security, Medicare, clean air, drinkable water, and the right to free and fair elections.
