Stupid, no one has fasted stones. All that was said is that running a specialty store in a town the size of west Jefferson is tough. The statistics are against her.

Tom, I hope you don't eat the chopped up gizzards and buttholes they sell in that processed meat at dollar general! Hahaha! There really is a huge difference in the quality! Go and get you some steaks at the butcher shop and throw them on the grill! I bet you would change your mind!

I was speaking of Walmart importing meat from Mexico and having steroids in the chicken. I'm glad she is supporting local farmers! I think she will do well!

You should check out the store before you cast stones at it. Her prices are really good, the meat does not have steroids or additive and supports local farmers; and she does accept EBT on all food items! She will do well!

Hope she does well. We've bought meat from her in Lansing and it was very good.... Highly recommend trying her products.

Yes, SIG it is locally grown meat. She sold at the Farmers Market for years before opening up in Lansing.

It was operating in Lansing for some time and did well. I suspect it will do fine in WJ. I don't get my meat from anywhere else, at least not in Ashe.

Does anyone know if they are selling locally farmed meat at this butcher shop?

The chicken is full of steroids! That's where all these fat white girls with little Mexican boyfriends buy there meat with food stamps!

I thought that nasty meat at walmart was horse meat.

Most of the meat at Walmart comes from cows and chickens.

Most of the meat at Walmart comes from Mexico and who knows where.. I wish them well! But unless they except food stamps I seriously doubt they will make it through the winter! Lol!

Eight months.
Tourist don't buy meat to take back home in the trunk of their car to Raleigh.
Grocery stores all sell meat. Dollar General even has meat. Restaurants and fast food places all cook meat for you.
It's not like you can't get it at other places.

I'll be surprised if they make it. The benefit of a butcher shop is they should have higher quality meat than grocery stores. But it costs a premium. I doubt enough people in Ashe will pay more than Walmart prices
