If you want to write a good story, do one about a local, well out of town, boy. He lands a job as a door security guard. After whining he gets a job at the school. He then whines about the vehicle he drives to and from school..., he tries to set a few employees up by recording them... His boss gives him a choice, get fired or quit. He quit. Then promises people job promotions if they help him oust his former boss... He succeeds. But then his rise to stardom abruptly ends when everyone sees that he is a liar...

Have you written anything we might want to read?
Note from GoNC: a portion of this post was removed that was in response to the earlier trolling.

Carolyn,
Suzanne Moore at the Ashe County Library could point you in the right direction. Also, maybe attend a Sunday Salon at River House. One of the innkeepers, John Stewart, is a published author and a really fun guy to chat with. There are some authors who frequent Bohemia and Boondocks as well.
Good luck!
(Doesn't Lee Smith have a home around Todd?)

Hello!
I'm a fiction and nonfiction writer and would like to meet up with fellow women writers in West Jefferson and/or Ashe County. If you would like to meet for a short meeting to discuss future meetings, please reply to this post.
Thank you! Carolyn Robinson
