Would the people of Ashe County like to have a new gun store?

I would like it and suggest as another poster did about cheap FFL transfers for internet buyers and a good supply of ammo from FMJ to quality self defense ammo.

It doesn't matter whether the people want it or not. It won't survive in Ashe. Not enough customers and most people still shoot in their backyard.

Ashe County is growing because they have ran out of room in Boone. I remember people saying the same thing about Mark Duncan when he started his in Wilkes. It has been around a long time now. I went to school with Mark and new Allen Brown well people said it will never work. But I'm glad it did.

It would be good if it were to have a large selection of used firearms as well. Maybe even a part time gunsmith to do minor repairs and or refinishing services. A big plus would be to take care of online buyers + sellers transfers at a reasonable cost. It's basically free money for you .

I would support it. It would be nice to have a local shooting range/ gun store. Nothing against the wildlife club but it would be nice to be able to practice on a range w/o having to be a member.

I'm good with competition. This store would be fully stocked. It wouldn't be one that just has a few hand guns and shotguns and a little ammo. I greatly appreciate your response. We love that area. We are still trying to find about 15 acres or so that would work. Any info you can give me I would greatly appreciate it.

I think it's great to have more businesses but I have to be honest I'd have concerns about whether you'd have enough business. I suppose it depends on what sort of ROI you are expecting and in what sort of time frame.
There is the Ashe County Wildlife Club that does have a 300 yd outdoor range. Thus you wouldn't be without competition.

I'm just asking would the people like to have a new gun and ammo store with all the stuff that goes with it in about a 3000 sq ft building with nice gun ranges? Let me know good or bad but please be serious. Thanks, Todd
