The summer musical will be the internationally known �Les Miserables� by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, with lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer. �Les Miserables� opened on Broadway in 1987 and won eight Tony awards. The story of convict Jean Valjean has touched the heart of its international audience as few shows in history have done. �Les Miserables� reminds us that we are each part of the same human family and that whatever out outward differences may be, our longings for individual liberty and peace are the same.
