This unique and historic event will give visitors the chance to experience life as it was 100 years ago, back when the N.C. Parks System first began. Visitors will be able to listen to music from a lost generation, sample foods common to the region and play games from the pre-electric era �including Tug-O-War, Corn Toss, Game of Graces, and more. For the more modern attendees, the event will also have modern picnic-fare for everyone to enjoy. Guests are encouraged to come out and enjoy themselves as we explore the history of Elk Knob, the surrounding region and the development of the North Carolina Parks System. Join us at your local state park alongside your neighbors, family, and the rangers who preserve our environment.
