The hunters at my place got a spike today. They were very happy. Back straps and hams are good regardless of the horns.

IT'S TRUE. CRESTON AREA IS THE BEST PLACE TO HUNT. I SEEN SEVERAL 10 POINTS I LET WALK AWAY FROM ME. I KNEW A BIGGER ONE WOULD SHOW UP, AND THANKFULLY HE DID. HE WAS FIGHTING A 12 POINTER WHEN I SHOT HIM. I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT HUNT.

Are you a newbie or did you just get your dates mixed up? Gun season has stated on the Saturday before Thanksgiving for as long as I can remember. Maybe you need to read thought you regs. booklet one more time.
