Theres no doubt they all worked hard, however they should have had help so they didnt have to work so many long hours.

Power has now been restored to everyone in Ashe. Thanks to all the lineman for their dedication and hard work.

Some areas of the county are not easily accessible.

However I've known it to take weeks in the past for some remote areas to get power restored. This storm was relatively mild in comparison to some I've seen.

Eastern nc has had power restored long ago. Again with the predictions we got plenty of notice on how much ice we were going to get. Blue ridge and dougie get a D- on this storm.

There are a lot of electric crews deployed all across the South, the panhandle of Florida on into Georgia continues to be a mess from the hurricane, I'm sure that eastern NC is still recovering from the storm that hit them.

Hopefully the requested assistance will appear and be able to make its way to the area.

The outage map looks like the whole county is out. Bremco just posted that they have asked for 100 crews to come help. Should have done this days ago.

With the predictions for days did bremco not have other co-op’s on the way or already staged?
