Didn't Dallas have several charges for DWI and assault by pointing a gun at the time of his death?

He wouldnt have dragged a deputy if porky pig hadnt jumped in the window. And as for driving drunk, wasnt he on private property at that point? I dont think they caught him on the road driving.
I dont know which way this will go, but its not a waste of money.

None of which I have seen reason to kill him. 60 calls with no arrests? I cant see that one either.

Over 60 calls in the prior 12 months about Shatley . His downward spiral had gotten totally out of control. This came from a knowledgeable person

Fins the prize hog had to be calmed down by the other two and was yelling at Doofus in the same manner according to the lawsuit that was filed. I wonder if that suit and his actions that night will be allowed in the murder trial. They also have body cam tapes from two of them from the Shatley shooting.

I'm out of town on business. Why would I miss out on income to listen to an egotistical liar blow smoke?

I have a theory that the reason he ended up charged is because of his temper. I suspect they got him on camera once again yelling something like "I'll ****ing kill you". He was caught with similar outbursts on that tv show. Then add in that supposedly shatley was on his own property and was trying to go home instead of toward the public road, the prosecution may try to argue he was no longer a threat to anyone.
But that's just my theory. We will have to see what comes out.

Maybe he believes he is completely innocent. And maybe he is. We will not know until we see and hear all of the evidence.

I'm sure his lawyer advised him not to accept the deal, but yeah I wouldn't be surprised by a change in venue filing. For a scene with just 4 people present, one of whom is dead, 355 pages of evidence seems a lot......
