A good question with an obvious answer. The corruption in Obama's DOJ runs deep. The soft coup currently being carried out by the anti-Trump forces is very dangerous. Cohen pled guilty to something which is not a crime while Clinton is not being investigated for what is obviously a crime. As Trump would say: Sad. It's not an adequate answer.

Trump will not resign. He is a conman playing out his final con. He doesn’t have the option of resigning; as soon as he becomes Donald Trump, private citizen, he’s at best exposed as a fraud and at worst arrested by the State of New York, a place where Pence can’t pardon him or his kids.

Nope… He’s stuck. He has to play out his hand.

But can he win with this hand? Can he escape being forcibly removed from office? Well… maybe… But some things will have to fall into place for Trump to survive (at least until 2020 when he has to answer to the people).

First, he has to get through the rest of this year with what’s left of his reputation intact. This will not be easy, especially if the Republicans lose the House in November, an event which may well bring into question the size and influence of his base and will, without a doubt, be a precursor to a fresh round of investigation by any number of newly energized Congressional committees.

But the election is only part of the gauntlet he will have to run. There’s another trial in September, this one focused on Manafort and Gates’ actions as political operatives and their relations with foreign governments. And while the case does not directly involve Trump, it will be occasioned by a considerable amount of speculation in the press and will probably establish Manafort and Gates (both key figures in the Trump campaign) as criminals with strong connections to Moscow. Mueller signed the indictment on this one, so it may fit into a bigger picture involving POTUS; we will find out in a few weeks.

Then there’s Mueller’s report, which I am guessing will be produced by the end of year or shortly thereafter in order to get it into the hands of the newly elected Congress as far away from the next election as possible.

And last, but definitely not least, while all this is going on, the economy must remain strong. If the economy encounters a significant disturbance you can kiss Trump’s support goodbye.

If Trump’s reputation can survive all these things plus God knows what else might come up, he might be able to keep his approval rating around 40 percent and keep his support in the Senate. If his approval rating drops to the low 30s or worse and doesn’t appear to be improving, look for Republican lawmakers to jump ship. And that will be that.

Imagine your a sitting President -
You hand pick your successor, weaponize the FBI, DOJ, CIA and the IRS against your opponent.
You control 90% of the media. You have 2X the ad budget.
You control the operation to collude with foreign powers against the challenger, and you lose to a reality TV star you claim is beneath you.
These are the acts of a politically incompetent nincompoop.

Considering the tenor of Congress after 2010 I doubt that any hint, any shadow, any iota of proof of malfeasance by Obama's WH would have gone unprosecuted. The cited 'article' is textbook fake news.

A lot more than you realize.

For example here's an article for 2010:

https://canadafreepress.com...d-counting

These are real events that took place, and they are well documented, all of them show a failure to uphold his oaths of offices whether as State Senator, US Senator or US President.

Name one thing Obama could have been charged with.

Trump would never resign, and he won't be impeached.

For years the GOP investigated Obama, sure there were lots of things they could of charged him with and there was ample evidence, but it was a dog and pony show. It was something just meant to keep the GOP base in line. There was never any serious consideration that they would ever charge Obama or any of his top advisors (including Hillary) with any serious crime.

Mueller's investigations are the same, sure a few peripheral people will be charged just as some flunkies were charged in the Obama Adminstration, but they will never actually charge Trump. You see if you looked at how Mueller assembled his team you'd know that. They are all supporters and several even worked for Clinton. As such the entire investigation is tainted from a legal standpoint, they could never prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they did not let their own personal political leanings determine the results of their investigation. It was designed to fail from the beginning. Besides there is already legal precedence that a President cannot be charged with a crime.

Congress would have to impeach him and though the GOP loathes him (yes the party leaders loath Trump) they also realize that if they were to impeach him they'd all lose their seats in the next election as the public outcry would be immense, as such they are just biding their time, just like they did with Obama after all someone can only be President for a maximum of 2 terms but you can be a Senator or Representative for decades so long as you keep duping the sheep into voting for you by dangling carrots you never intend to produce (the Democrats have done this for decades to the Black Communities and the GOP have done it for decades with Conservatives). This desire to be reelected is why they never were going to impeach Obama and why they will not move to impeach Trump.

With the exceptions of Ford and Carter pretty much every President of the last 100 years has done something that could warrant impeachment even the ones most consider good Presidents. As Johnson and Clinton show though it's very hard to remove a president through impeachment, in fact if Nixon hadn't resigned it's possible he also would never have been removed from office (keep in mind Ford gave him a full pardon and was House Minority Leader before becoming President when first Agnew resigned then Nixon as such had he remained House Minority Leader it is unlikely the House would ever have had the votes to impeach Nixon).

I was asking for legitimate sources, not more OMG it's a liberal conspiracy! BS. How can anyone expect others to be swayed to their side of the fence if they can't provide credible background? Mindless repetition of baseless talking points (from either side) without real facts to back them up doesn't contribute very much to civil political discourse. So I say again...where do you find this crap?
