Vera's salad bar su*ks! The best pizza around here is mellow mushroom hands down.

Ok guys and girls, since this thread is all about pizza, I am going to tell you the best place to get pizza in Ashe County. " Pie on the Mountain" located in Lansing is by far the best pizza I have ever eaten. They make everything from scratch, and the vegetables come from local people. The meat comes from a meat mkt. I have to say they are even better than Mellow Mushroom. Go and give them a try you won't be disappointed!

Vera's has mixed reviews, some favorable some not so much. Guess you'll have to give it try yourself and be the judge...

Vera's in Jefferson. Pizza is delish and salad bar is always fresh!!!!!!

parttimeresident, if you want the best pizza and wings in town, I recommend Bobby D's. .49 cent wings on Wednesdays.

That blackened salmon alfredo is good there. Haven't tried the pizza, and probably won't. As for cheese curds, sure, with salt. But fried cheese curds? NFW.
