And yes generally speaking if a cop is found guilty of lying, fabricating evidence etc then generally it can open up a review of all previous cases he's been involved in. Still they should let them get away with obvious murder.

Are you talking about the guy in the hotel hallway following the cops demands if so then yes I saw it and can't believe that the cop wasn't found guilty.
I think I have figured out why no one will say what office scumbag did was wrong. Just think about all the people convicted with his testimony wanting new trails if they were to admit that he lied under oath and was wrong in his actions.

Go read the article Jack@$$ the DA drop the charges citing that she didn't break any laws and several federal courts have ruled that its a right under the 1st amendment to take pictures of cops in public. This scumbag cop lied to get an arrest warrant to get back at her when she wouldn't buckle to his will. If he lied about this how many people have been convicted because of his lying? I guess you think it is ok for lying scumbag cops to make up the law as they go along. These are the kind of douche bags that give all leos a bad image.

Max, Joe’s point is there is a serious problem with law enforcement way over stepping their authority and in many cases not even knowing what the law is. They don’t deserve a free pass just because they willingly took a job as a civil servant. Our own Bufurt is a shining example of all of this.

I think Jack is probably right, the lawyers will line up, after all this is probably a slam dunk case. It's also possible that the jurisdiction might of its own accord might expunge the record in light of the bad publicity (especially if lawyers start snooping around).

The DA dropped the charges noting that she committed no crime. Yet nothing has happen to the lying cop or the magistrat that signed the warrant but the woman still has an arrest record. And cops wonder why no one respects them any more she should sue this sob for violating her rights.
