Think I’d rather spend my $125 on a good bottle of liquor

Also, the Watauga and Ashe GOP have a joint dinner planned Aug 10 at the Blue Ridge Theater. Tickets are $125. They clearly don’t want the average working class to show up. But I don’t see them holding two separate events a week apart. If they could get the president here, they would do it for the dinner.

He is coming to pick out his own Christmas tree this year. I got a couple of scraggy pines I want him to look at.

I seriously doubt they'd release the President's schedule 2 months in advance. That would be considered a serious security breach.
Would I go if he did show up, yes I'd go if I could afford to. Though since I'm not a member of the GOP I probably wouldn't be able to do the meet and greet.
I have to agree with FINS though that there would be little to gain from visiting Ashe for the President at least politically.

I doubt this is true by any means. I have a client that was on the SC campaign committee. There’s nothing for trump to gain by coming to Ashe.

August 17 heard it a few days ago from the Republican Party. Meet and greet and dinner then a rally on the ground for the local folk. Other than Clinton has any President ever come through Ashe?
